Seamlessly Match Phase Length: Precision Tuning with SV Microwave’s Embedded Solution

Phase matching, which involves making cable assemblies the same electrical distance regardless of physical length,  has long been a complex and expensive process. Traditionally, it requires testing partially configured cable assemblies for their electrical length, trimming the cable until the length matches, and final cable connector termination. Any phase adjustments necessitate coordination with an outside vendor, making the process lengthy and costly.


SV Microwave streamlines this with our innovative Embedded Phase Tuner. This component allows customers to independently adjust the phase of cable assemblies without external vendor involvement. The Embedded Phase Tuner operates by adjusting the transmission line length using a threaded coupling nut, simplifying the process.


Additionally, it can eliminate the need for adapters by transitioning between different cable diameters, similar to SV Microwave's ConvergeRF solution (see image right). This solution is designed to be simple and easy to use, providing a straightforward phase-matching solution.
