Our Engineering Manager, Fernando Diaz, was recently presented with an award for Outstanding Engineering Achievement by the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the Engineers’ Council at the Kravis Center.

“This recognition is of significant importance to me, and a great motivation” – Fernando Diaz.

 

Fernando received this award in recognition of his exceptional contributions in all areas of engineering, quality, and customer support, as well as his dedication to mentoring the next generation of engineering talent. Our Director of Engineering, Domenic LoPresti, nominated him for this award.

The presenters of this award, The Engineer’s Council and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, are staples of our community.

 

The Engineers’ Council was established in 1955 and originated as a mutual benefit society through the collaboration of several organizations. Their mission was and still is: “1) Advance the art and science of engineering for the general welfare of humankind, 2) Advance the welfare of the general public through the creative resources and abilities of the engineering professions, 3) Inform the general public of the advantages and capabilities of engineering in advancing human welfare, and 4) Provide suitable public recognition of engineering achievement through the coordinated efforts of Academia, Private Sector companies, Government Agencies, Individuals, and Technical Society Affiliates” - The Engineers’ Council.

 

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County was founded in 1982 as a not-for-profit corporation to attract, support, and retain new industries, business investments, high-quality jobs, and workforces in various ways. It is Palm Beach County’s official economic development resource.

 

Fernando’s award and recognition underscore the vital role that exceptional leadership and dedication play in advancing the engineering field. Congratulations, Fernando! We are proud of you and excited to see what you do next.
