RF interconnects and cable assemblies are essential in transporting to and from the quantum computer. Inside the cryo-chamber, connectors and cables may be required to perform in extreme cold temperatures (as low as zero degrees Kelvin) or may be used in between the stages of the ‘chandelier’ where hermeticity is required. Another key requirement inside the “fridge” is an interconnect with high density that is capable of getting the signal access points as close as possible to processors.
Quantum computers also use non-magnetic components in key areas of the signal path to ensure there is no interference with applied magnetic fields. SV has a selection of products that use non-magnetic plating and manufacturing techniques that are ideal for applications that require low magnetic susceptibility (10^-5 max) and no electric field distortion.
