RF cable assemblies are often frequently handled and maneuvered into tight spaces. If not properly handled, it is common to see damage to the cable assembly, especially in the sensitive area just behind the cable connector, where it is terminated to the cable. SV Microwave has developed two different solutions to address this issue. One, our extended ferrule cable connectors is ideal for Ø.047" cable solutions, the other our RF strain relief boot features an external molded accessory that is incorporated into the assembly to prevent the cable from overbending. It can be used on both Ø.047" and Ø.085" cable types.
