Most recently, SV Microwave has collaborated with sister Amphenol divisions to design a plug-in/chassis example that showcases Amphenol’s complete range of offerings and our ability to transmit RF, fiber, and discrete signals throughout a system.
In addition to SV’s RF/fiber hybrid VITA modules, components, and cable assemblies, Amphenol Aerospace includes its RVPX backplane and plug-in connectors, which are VITA 46 compliant. Amphenol Fiber Systems International has included its fiber patch cords, while Amphenol Active Optics Products provides the onboard optical transceiver. The resulting plug-in and chassis reduce size, weight, and power by combining all these features into a modular and scalable solution.
